R.T.’s Auto Shop of Ware, Mass. has become the center of a relief effort to help victims of Hurricane Harvey, which devastated the Houston area. Donations of clothing, toiletries, baby formula, bottled water, and other needed items poured into the shop after the owners announced their intention to assist flood victims. An estimated 30,000 pounds of goods were collected and sent via a truck convoy to Texas.
Shop co-owner Trevor Bleau told WWLP-TV, “We honestly didn’t think it was going to be this big, but that’s a great thing.” You can watch the broadcast here.
