The Automotive Service Association of Massachusetts and Rhode Island (ASAMARI) is the newly formed regional affiliate of the Automotive Service Association (ASA), an organization that has represented auto repair facilities since 1951, and is one of the nation’s largest and most respected advocates for repair shop businesses and customers.
ASAMARI’s executive director will be Stephen Regan, who has been involved in the collision and mechanical repair community since 1999. He has an impressive record of working in the best interests of our combined industry in Massachusetts, New England and nationally.
ASAMARI will add local representation to the important work being done on a national basis by ASA. We will be an active local voice representing your industry in government affairs, public relations, and legal issues that affect both collision and mechanical repair shops. Our goal is to help ensure that laws and regulations protect the successful business operations of our members and affiliates, as well as the consumer.
We will also have an ongoing public relations campaign to ensure that consumers in Massachusetts and Rhode Island perceive ASAMARI member shops and affiliates as businesses that care about them. We will also be hosting local monthly meetings in Springfield, Worcester, Boston and Providence that will feature nationally know industry leaders on topics from cybersecurity and telematics, parts ordering best practices, business management, AMI and I-CAR training, OEM Certification options, new vehicle technologies, and much more.
Through our own responsive website and links to national websites through the ASA national organization, we offer our members a wealth of information and guidance on industry issues, legislative issues, management topics, and other important data. ASAMARI members also receive the full benefits of ASA membership, including purchase discounts on parts, supplies, and services.
Member shops can also be featured on our active “Find a Member” search function that will help direct consumers who are seeking a reliable and trustworthy shop to repair their vehicle.
ASAMARI produces and distributes the e-newsletter you are currently reading ASAMARI REPORT, which circulates to our regular members, affiliate members, educational members, and a selection of non-member repair shops.
