According to a report in the Boston Business Journal (June 30, 2017) Massachusetts auto insurers did not score well on a recent J.D. Power customer satisfaction survey. Ratings for the six insurance companies based in the state were below regional averages, with many customers saying they were unhappy with price increases. The scores, based on a 1,000-point scale, were:
Regional Average: 811
Liberty Mutual: 808
Arbella: 803
Plymouth Rock Assurance: 790
Mapfre Insurance: 789
The Hanover: 786
Safety Insurance: 769
